Coconut & Rose Soap with Bergamot + Geranium

Description

Coconut & Rose is a very hard bar of soap, made primarily with Coconut Oil and Coconut Milk. This soap is different than some of my other bars due to the high coconut oil content (80%!). In order to ensure that the bar isn’t drying (did you know that coconut oil in soap can be very drying?), a very high superfat has been added – unsaponified oils that don’t react with the lye, and therefore are free-floating and provide extra moisturization.

SCENT
This soap is scented with a blend of bergamot and geranium essential oils (it does NOT smell like coconut!). The geranium gives it the rose scent and the bergamot brightens it up with a bit of a citrus twist.

INGREDIENTS (in order of weight):
~ All-Natural, Vegan, and Palm-Oil Free ~
Coconut Oil, Coconut Milk, Distilled Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Shea Butter, Essential Oil Blend { bergamot + geranium }, Avocado Oil, Castor Oil, Rose Clay, Rose Petals.

TIPS FOR EXTENDING THE LIFE OF YOUR SOAP
Place your soap in a dish that drains (not flat on the tile or in a non-draining dish!) and ensure that it doesn’t get wet between uses. This is optional, but it will definitely make your soap last longer.
